сросители выполняются из железобетонных лотков и асбоцементных трубопро-

На орошаемой территории предусматривается строительство систематичес-
кого закрытого горизонтального и вертикального дренажа.

На целинных землях Джизакской степи намечается организовать 22 хлопко-
водческих совхоза площадью 5—6 тысяч га каждый, 2 садово-виноградарских,
2 овощеводческих, один свиноводческий и птицефабрику.

Общие капиталовложения на осуществление всех предусмотренных схемой
мероприятий составляют 1259 млн. рублей.

It is planned fo organize on the new land of Dzhizak Steppe 22 cotton growing
state farms each with 5,000—6,000 hectares of land, 2 fruit and grape growing sfate
farms, 2 vegetable growing farms, one pig farm and a poultry farm.

Total capital investments for the project amouni to 1,259 million roubles.
When completed the projeci will give the country annually over 200,000
tons of cotton, some 17,000 tons of meat, 66,000 tons of milk and other agricultural
produce.

The first stage of the project envisages 160 million cu.m of earth excavation
works, 1,8 million cu.m of concrete and reinforced concrete work, the laying of 930
km of asbestos cement piping and 4,300 km of closed ceramic pipe drainage.

If will take 6—7 years to repay all expenses entailed in the irrigation and agri-
cultural development of 150,000 hectares of land in the Dzhizak Steppe.

construire 930 kilométres de conduites en amiante cimeni ei 4300 kilomeétres de
drains fermés réalisés en tuyaux de céramique.
