В состав гидроузла входят следующие основные гидротехнические — соору-
жения:

— подводящее русло длиной 420 м, криволинейное в плане, со струена-

правляющими дамбами. Пропускная способность pycna—885 m3/c;

— два водозаборных отверстия;

— водосбросные сооружения в реки Кара-Дарья (основное) и Ак-Дарья
(сспомогательное, действующее только в период паводка на р. Ак-Дарья) с
отводящими руслами, рассчитанными соответственно на расход 550 и 230 м3/с;

— шлюзы-регуляторы на каналах Центрально-Мианкальском и  Курбана-
бад, рассчитанные соответственно на расход 70 и 36 м3/с.

The ground water level stands at 0.5—2.5 metres below surface and the water
is poorly mineralized.

The Akkaradarya headworks ensures guaranteed water infake into the Ceniral-
Miankal, Kurbanabad, Sharkhob and Chardjui main canals without any pumps.

The headworks comprises the following structures:

— a delivery channel 420 metres long, curved and fitted with current directing
dikes. The carrying capacily of the channel is 885 cu.m per second;

— two water intake openings;

— spillways into the Kara-Darya river (main unit) and into the Ak-Darya river
(auxiliary unit operating only during flood periods on the Ak-Darya) with diversion
channels for 550 and 230 cu.m per second of eater discharge accordingly;

— regulator sluices on the Ceniral Miankal and Kurbanabad canals for a @5$-

charge of 70 and 36 cu.m per second accordingly.

Les ecaux souterraines ont une minéralisation faible et se frouvent & une profon-
deur de 0,5 & 2,5 métres.

L'une des parficularités du complexe d'Akkaradaria consiste en ce que la prise
d’'eau des canaux principaux du Miankal-Central, de Kourbanabad, de Charkhob et de
Tchardjoui, est garantie sans alluvions.

Le complexe hydraulique d'Akkaradaria se compose des ouvrages suivants:

— chenal d'amenée d'une longueur @е 420 meétres dont le plan est curviligne,
avec épis de déviation. Га capaciié du chenal est de 885 m3/s;

— deux embouchures de prise d'eau;

— ouvrages de décharge @и Kara-Daria (principal) et de [|'Ak-Daria (auxiliaire
qui fonctionne seulement durant les crues de I'Ak-Daria) avec des chenaux d'éva-
cuation prévus pour un débit de 550 et de 230 m3/s respectivement;

— régulateurs de prise d'eau des canaux du Miankal-Cenfral et de Kourbanabad,
congus pour un débit de 70 et 36 m*/s respectivement.
